Product Manager

Ideal Candidate

Bachelor's or higher degree preferred, REFA certification is a strong advantage
5 or more years of supervisory experience required, preferably in the textile industry
High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate clearly, both written and verbal
Demonstrated ability to meet/exceed production, quality, and safety goals in a manufacturing environment
Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word)
Management experience is a plus
Ability to handle multiple tasks with shifting priorities
Knowledge and understanding of merchandising and product development
Very good written & verbal communication skills in English, German would be a plus

Management and coordination of the entire production chain
Full responsibility from preparing manufacturing orders, order confirmation, create all documents to proper shipping
Confirmation of delivery dates for the goods and compliance with these delivery dates
Ensure cost, timely and high-quality processing of customer orders, cost estimation
Responsible for the production budget
Plan and organize personnel deployment, review job performance and provide discipline as necessary
Communicate instructions and set priorities, ensure proper support, and resolve complex issues
Coordinate and lead meetings related to the department's overall performance
Conduct root cause analyses in conjunction with department and plant personnel in order to formulate effective and efficient solutions to problems
Meet and/or exceed quality, cost, production, efficiency, and waste control standards
Conduct routine inventory audits of finished goods and raw materials
Visually inspect all machinery and ensure proper maintenance/regular preventative maintenance is performed
Maintain and order necessary supplies to ensure continuous production
Act as contact person for all production-related questions and processes
Ensures a smooth process from cutting to sewing and makes sure that the production department meets all targets and on-time deliveries to the customers
Continuous optimization of production processes
Continuous intermediate control during manufacturing and carry out final inspection
