Industrial Textile Designer

Ideal Candidate

Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Textile Design, Product Design or related field
5+ years experience in an industrial design role leading high priority work
Proved knowledge and experience in SolidWorks, Lectra software knowledge would be a strong Plus
Leverage strong technical background and understanding of 'good' design
High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks with shifting priorities
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Innate ability to connect with customers
Very good written & verbal communication skills in English, German would be a plus

Design and construct robot protective covers according to design and technical specifications using 3D-design concept (SolidWorks, Lectra)
Clarify technical issues, bring in your own ideas and coordinate design specifications with colleagues
Create concept designs in 2D and 3D formats
Your accompany the entire process from individual parts to series production
Revise existent models
Development of robot protective covers based on customer requirements / technical specifications
Independent project-processing
Your work team-, process- and project-oriented
Your tasks include the development of initial cuts up to the technical preparaiton of the cuts that go into production
Design review regarding technical and economic feasibility
Your work in a structured and proper manner, and you never lose track of the deadlines, even in situations with high workload
Actively organize your field of activity with a high degree of personal responsability
Carry out all necessary calculations and add all dimension. If necessary, ou develop alternatives (eg. regarding materials or assemly technology)
Create technical documentation
Create production materials, bill of materials, starndard lists
Carry out any other tasks that result from operational needs
